Trump Can't Have It Both Ways...

It is curious this evening, as I watch the news and hear that White House Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, has said that Trump does NOT want House Speaker Paul Ryan to step down from his position. Priebus stated that Trump doesn't blame Ryan for the failure of the repeal bill.

It is confusing to me, that Trump endorses and encourages people to watch his close friend and staunch supporter, Judge Jeanine Pirro tear into Paul Ryan's butt, like a hungry Pitbull chewing on a meaty T-bone. She passionately blames Ryan for his lack of leadership and political failure to convince the House of Representatives members to pass the flawed Trumpcare bill, against their better judgement and in violation of the trust of their constituents.  And yet,...now Trump denies blaming Ryan and it leaves me wondering, if he intentionally used Judge Pirro, as his opinion proxy for a plausible denial of his real opinion in a hidden political agenda?

Thinking about this conflicted point of view on Trump's part, is making me hungry. Oh well, it's time for me to start making supper. It's a lovely Spring evening and Granny Annie has decided to serve breakfast for supper.

There's fresh brewed coffee with my favorite Hazelnut creamer to compliment the rich smooth flavor of my Yuban Pacific Coast Blend coffee. There's optional cold milk and orange juice, as well. I'm serving crispy hickory smoked bacon and Jimmy Dean Hot Sausages. Then there's Banana Walnut Bread fresh from the local bakery that will be dipped in organic cage-free beaten eggs and fried in a well-seasoned buttered skillet. When it's finished frying golden brown on both sides, then I remove the Banana Walnut French Toast from Granny Annie's turn-of-the-century skillet and place it on my prettiest bone-china plates with the accompanying silverware, in front of Grandpoppy. I top the French toast with a fresh dollop of whipped cream and add a side dish of fresh ripened strawberries. There's a re-filled glass jar of buttery Log Cabin syrup on the table and Granny Annie's antique honey pot filled with fresh clover honey, sitting next to the old stoneware crock of soft Irish butter. The kitchen window is open and Grandpoppy sits in his favorite kitchen chair, as he savors this special kind of late night supper. My little kitchen is sweetly scented with hot buttery French Toast and gently illuminated by a soft yellowy twilight, laying beyond the salty sea breeze.

                                                     "Boner Appertite!"

                                          "Good Night and Sweet Dreams"

Trump asked his supporters to watch Fox News host. She then called on Paul Ryan to step down.

A Fox News personality - whom President Donald Trump had urged his supporters to watch Saturday night - called on House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., to step down, saying he had done a disservice to Trump by failing to pass a high-profile health-care bill this week.

At the top of her show, Jeanine Pirro, host of "Justice With Judge Jeanine," delivered a scathing commentary on Ryan's performance in the days leading up to the decision to pull the House Republican bill to overhaul the Affordable Care Act.
