American Credibility on the World Stage?

I watched Senior Media Correspondent Brian Stelter working for CNN hosting his own Sunday morning show called, "Reliable Sources", on television this morning. My toes were snuggled in my soft pink muffies, that warmly cuddled my feet, propped up on my footstool with my faithful cup of steamy Joe in hand, as I watched the interview of a former CIA agent Larry Johnson. This Agent Johnson, was one of the sources, previously credited as an anonymous informant of former New Jersey Judge and Legal Analyst,  Andrew Napolitano.  The  former judge stated on his Fox network show that he had 3 anonymous sources who told him that President Obama had Trump wire tapped during his Presidential campaign and before Inauguration to the office of President.

The former CIA agent stated clearly that President Obama did NOT have anything to do with ordering any wire tap of Trump. The agent stated that he did not know that information he shared with Judge Napolitano, would be used on television by Judge Napolitano. He said, former CIA Directors Brennan and Clapper did have the tacit ability to go through "back-channels" of the GCHQ in Britain for assistance to obtain spy information.

So what is the truth? Who is to be believed?

It is rather suspect that  Atty. James Comey who is Director of the FBI takes 2 weeks to formulate a crafted statement meant to address and answer the national question on American citizen's minds whether Trump really was secretly/illegally surveilled? Did Pres. Trump tell the truth or not? WHO can be believed? Why didn't Comey just say, "No, that's a lie", when questioned. That alone would have speedily and matter-of-factly and decisively silenced any further inquiries, instead of dancing around the bush for 2 weeks.

We are now, as we speak, facing many important and disturbing problems that will require the confidence of the American people to believe our government agencies and the people tasked with the responsibility to run our government and its many agencies. I have no doubt that these people are patriotic citizens and want on a personally altruistic level, what is best for America, even if the ends do not justify the means. I have confidence that their intentions are purely patriotic at heart.
