Trump's Kakistocracy (pronounced Kak-i-sto-cracy)

Good afternoon! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood. The cacophony of the 2 lane street traffic mixed with the distant sounds of bustling crowds of tourists, in the downtown Mom & Pop owned mercantile shops and music playing from the outdoor cafes, lend a palpable air of excitement, every Saturday. It feels like sunny Saturday afternoons spent at the County Fair, running into family, friends, neighbors and tourists. It makes the small old town center for shopping and eating, an irresistible magnet for the young and old, towns folk and tourists, every weekend. It is a magical recipe that draws everyone. It is the uncommon place where everyone is invited to mingle and participate in a soul comforting spirit that lives in the warmth of this little town by the sea. It is a place where no one is refused entrance or denied their slice of the happy social pie that lives here. A place located between the edge of the mountains and the edge of the ocean, where simple joy thrives.

Today, I was introduced to a new word I will be adding to my linguistic lexicon, particularly in political discussions. That word is kakistocracy. It is the perfect word to describe President Donald J. Trump! There may not be a more perfect word in the English language that can accurately describe this man or his professional qualifications or lack thereof; for the highest office in the land.

  kakistocracy

Noun
(plural kakistocracies)
  1. Government under the control of a nation's worst or least-qualified citizens.
Origin
Ancient Greek ÎºÎ¬ÎºÎ¹ÏƒÏ„ος (kakistos, “worst"), superlative of ÎºÎ±ÎºÎ¿Ï‚ (kakos, “bad") + -κρατια (-kratia, “power, rule, government").

The use of this newly introduced word, is a good tool in attempting to explain or describe Pres. Trump, amid the kudos from his nonplussed and "poorly educated" supporters rhetoric.

                                                         "Boner Appertite!"
