When I was a child, I was taught that G-d was omnividente. Today, I still believe it. So, frequently... when I am troubled on a few dark sacred nights, when the only light I see is the moon shining above me, I wonder if G-d is staring back at me... perceiving my most private thoughts?
I wonder what G-d is thinking when HE sees the world HE created in so much pain, confusion and chaos? What a mess mankind has made of the beautiful gift of the earth, G-d created just for us! I wonder if G-d's heart cries over us, like a broken and disappointed parent? Mostly... I wonder if HE ever feels repentant for making us and wishes he hadn't?
I grew up at a time in America where the scare of communism was a near nightly topic of discussion at my family's dinner table, before or after the evening news broadcasts. Where my family and I lived, there was near paranoia of communism and communist influence of any kind or degree. The only 2 things I can remember being remotely associated with that was Russian or had any Russian influence was the Russian salad dressing that my mother liked and her red floral babushka, I adored. There was practically an unspoken, but well understood attitude that appreciating anything remotely Russian, was considered anathema to American patriotism.
These somewhat skewed viewpoints and perceptions were rooted in all respectable homes, schools and churches by official dogma, in our hometown, whether fanatical in nature or not. My hometown was overrun with WWII and Korean veterans on every block. The idea of patriotism was no small thing. There was a stigma attached to patriotism that it was sinful, unpatriotic and simply unacceptable to listen or consider any political viewpoint that wasn't flag-waving and the yankee-doodlest of political ideology.
It is more than ironic, that Vladimir Putin, who has earned the reputation of a famous and feared ex-KGB agent and Russian leader, happens to be openly and freely offering some of the best and wisest advice on the world stage, to the President of the United States! WOW! This would be laughable, if it weren't so serious. It feels like I'm living in a real life episode of the "Twilight Zone". In a weird twist of political satirical history, Vladimir Putin is starting to earn a reputation of a sane and respected, (although feared)common sense, globally diplomatic leader. A sort of Russian Winston Churchill... a renaissance man!
"Good Night!" and "Sweet Dreams!"
"Boner Appertite!"

North Korea Crisis: Russia’s Putin Warns of ‘Global Catastrophe’
by and
Moscow-Russian President Vladimir Putin warned Tuesday that ramping up the "military hysteria" around North Korea's escalating nuclear and missile tests could lead to a "global catastrophe."
He also questioned the effectiveness of tightening sanctions, as the U.S. has suggested, saying that they will not change the behavior of Kim Jong Un and his regime.
North Korea "would rather eat grass" than abandon its nuclear program "as long as they do not feel safe," Putin said.
The Russian leader urged dialogue with Pyongyang.
