Does Trump's Horse Have Feathers?

Good evening! The crock pot in my cozy little kitchen has slowly stewed and simmered my Curry Chicken recipe for the last 8 hours. The aroma from this spicy Indian dish has more than sufficiently stimulated me and Grandpoppy's  taste buds and appetite, beyond the prosaic definition of temptation. I always serve the mouth-watering dish like a Cajun Etouffee, smothering a warm and buttery bed of the Royal Select Blend of Basmati, Brown, Wild and Thai Red rice, on our plates, with fresh baked rolls from the oven. YUM!

After dinner, Grandpoppy helped me wash dishes and we retired to the comfort of our dual recliners in the living room. I received my latest issue of "The Week" magazine, that discusses and spotlights the main stories, captured in national and international news, for the week in review. I leaned back and began reading, beneath the arm of the vintage lamp shade's soft white glare.

I found myself engrossed in an article that attempted to allow Pres. Trump ample wiggle-room in the questionable execution of his duties. There was a lame, but apologetic explanation from one conservative Republican supporter's viewpoint. The highly educated and acclaimed writer proposed his theory, to explain why senior members of Trump's Cabinet, frequently contradict Trump. This explanation allowed Trump to get a pass, that his Democratic predecessor would not have been allowed.

The contradictions are not limited to any one issue, but include various national and international issues dominating the front pages of the media's internet daily news and the nightly anchor desks of multiple cable network news outlets.

Washington Post writers claim that Trump is "furious", about the disloyalty from his senior Cabinet Members and White House Chief of Staff, retired Marine Gen. John Kelly, who's been imposing restrictions that limit access to the President and the Oval Office by many of his less than professional staff , outside advisers, old friends and public loyalists.

Trump's White House staff, act like common washerwomen, hanging the palace laundry outside to air dry in the sunlight. Trump's modern day counterparts, continue to air their dissatisfaction, animosity and resentments, shamelessly flapping in a fierce breeze blowing through the portico's of the White House. The freshly laundered clean clothes, as well as, permanently stained garments are hung on the political clothesline in the backyard of the White House, for the world to see. The anger and hatred that Trump's staff and loyalists display toward John Kelly's authority, tries daily to relentlessly undermine his goal of containing unauthorized news leaks and restricting White House staffers from previously unlimited access to the President.

However, Gen. Kelly someday will have to face the crux of the bigger problem,  It is speculated by many inside and outside of the White House, in hushed tones and quiet whispers, predicting that Pres.Trump and Gen. Kelly are bound to face off with each other, literally described as a "collision course", sooner or later. It seems like a modern-day rendition of the re-enactment of "Mutiny on the Bounty"!

In the article published by "The Week" magazine, for the current week of September 15th., 2017 called, "Trump: Why His Aides Contradict Him", Ramesh Ponnuru in BloombergView.com is cited
for his white washed declaration that, "The problem isn't insubordination, it's a lack of Presidential seriousness."

In the wise and colorful words of my old Daddy, when he recognized a politician shoveling a load of political manure, Daddy always sarcastically expressed his opinion. Daddy proudly and loudly fell back on the colloquial speak of my hillbilly kin, exclaiming  ... "Ho-or-r-r-rse Feathers!" You may properly interpret it, as you see fit, in mixed company.

Respectfully, Mr. Ponnuru and I disagree about the cause of so many senior White House Cabinet members, weekly contradictions reported in the press. Mr. Ponnuru offers an undeservedly polite excuse for Pres. Trump, but telegraphs a surprising disconnection from reality.

I agree, when Mr. Ponnuru says that the problem isn't insubordination. But...I believe there is a simpler and more honest root cause. I believe that Gen. Kelly will have to find a way to address the core problem and work around it, developing viable solutions to the difficulties that are the true root cause, ultimately, being Donald Trump's inherent lack of Presidential qualification and competency.

"Good Night, Shalom and Sweet Dreams!"

                                                               "Boner Appertite!"
