Trumponomics Corn Commodities

To be sure, Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) has taken to social media to send messages to the White House. On Tuesday, Senator Grassley tweeted “Mexican senator intro bill that will hurt US Ag Must enter Mexico negotiations w eyes WIDE OPEN Consequences will hurt farmers first.”

So here's to hot corn chowder on a cold winter night for supper when your hungry family/friends gather around the table for fellowship, laughter, love  and spiritual comfort in an ever changing and crazy world.

Granny Annie's Politic Cafe Corn Chowder

1 lb. frozen sweet corn
1 cup of match stick cut carrots
4 medium red potatoes
1 chopped yellow onion
1/2 cup of butter
1 tblsp. of garlic
1 tblsp. of dried parsley
1 tblsp. Mediterranean Sea salt
1 tblsp. coarse ground black pepper
2 cups water
3 cups milk
1 lb. white chicken meat

Melt butter in dutch oven pan and add chopped onions and cook till translucent. Add chopped to bite size red potatoes, corn and carrots.
Add water and stir. Add garlic, salt, pepper and parsley. Let boil for 30 minutes. Add chopped chicken and milk.  Stir occasionally and continue to cook for 30 minutes. Taste and add salt as desired. Boner Appertite!

Mexico is America's #1 buyer of corn. They purchase 25% of the corn grown in America, while Japan buys 16% of our corn. If Mexico stops U.S. corn imports, demand would shift to South America. This would also shift our economy, for better or worse,... for somebody.
