Sing It Ella....

Good evening! Grandpoppy is napping in the other room. The occasional deep breathy grunts echo through the periodic crescendo's and decrescendo's in the rhythmic movement and tempo of his snores. It's a weird kind of comforting and melodious music, similar to "New Age" music, meant for old age listeners.

The steady reports of a deepening chasm between Pres. Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell threatens to rapidly erode the effectual workings of Congress. This is a significant problem with serious implications, because the best leadership and governance for millions of American taxpayers depends on a cohesive working partnership between the Executive branch and the Legislative branches of government. This egregious split in the quill, between them, erodes the health of our government and benefits that democratic government services perform daily for the good of all of its people.

Several former Republican and Democratic party Senators have said that this is causing the "steady erosion of bipartisanship". In a speech that McConnell gave at the American Enterprise Institute he said, "The greatest way to ensure stability in our laws is to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in some way in its passage." The truth is, that the greatest way to ensure stability in our government, is to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in some way in the passage of laws.

Sen. Mitch McConnell was a supportive proponent of Donald Trump, against most opinions that questioned the mental/emotional stability and fitness of Pres. Trump to serve our country as an effective leader during a time of relative geopolitical stability. As time goes on, more serious questions appear regarding Pres. Trumps ability to lead the nation through a potential national crisis. To muddle through situations arising in precariously, unstable constructs of critical geopolitical international events that affect America, outside of our eastern and western geographical moats that protect and separate us from attacks of enemy aggression, will require the cooperation of Congress. Our country wasn't built by one man or sustained by one man, for the last 241 years. It would serve both Pres. Trump and Sen. Mitch McConnell, to make peace and apologies with each other for the greater good of America.

Ella Fitzgerald Lyrics

"Who's Sorry Now"

Who's sorry now, who's sorry now?
Whose heart is aching for breaking each vow?
Who's sad and blue, who's crying too?
Just like I cried over you

Right to the end, just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You had your way, now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry now

Right to the end, just like a friend
I tried to warn you somehow
You, you had your way, now you must pay
I'm glad that you're sorry
I'm glad that you're sorry
I'm glad that you're sorry now

                                                 "Good Night!" and "Sweet Dreams!"

                                                                "Boner Appertite!"
