Presidential Threats...

Good evening! Grandpoppy and I are finished watching Trump's speech at his Phoenix, AZ rally, tonight. The major point I perceived from listening to the entirety of his speech were 3 distinct issues.

The first issue was centered around a whining 71 year old, man-child garnering sympathy from a friendly crowd of political supporters. Trump successfully rallied pity for his tirade and a mislead feeling of righteous resentment among his supporters, against negative media reports and reporters. The daily reports of the failed promises, national Presidential divisiveness and unprecedented, extreme political and presidential incompetence, has been severely criticized by the media, as greater than any elected President in American history.

The second issue Trump addressed was the question of Presidential pardon for ex-Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Trump hinted at a guaranteed pardon, forthcoming for Mr. Arpaio.

Newsweek Magazine excerpt:

Arpaio was found guilty of criminal contempt by a federal judge last month and could face up to six months in prison when he is sentenced on October 5. The former sheriff of Maricopa County is accused of violating a court order to refrain from racial profiling by continuing to target Latinos during patrols before handing them over to federal immigration authorities.

The third issue was Trump's firm threat to shut down the government, if his promise to "build a wall" bordering Mexico and the United States, wasn't funded by a Congressional spending bill by September 30th. If Trump does indeed shut down the government in an attempt to force funding for his stupid wall, it would stop all Social Security checks from being routinely issued to millions of Americans, whose very livelihood depends on those checks, for an unspecified amount of time.

It would be interesting to see how that tactical plan would work out for Trump! If he thinks he is getting bad press now...he would probably retaliate in an uncontrolled emotional blast, like a ticking time bomb, unprepared and undiffused for the scathing daily editorials and hate letters that would come his way. The following day's "Breaking News" headline would read, "Trump Calls Plumber Joe and Handyman Carpenters To The White House". KellyAnne Conway would be offering "alternative facts",  explaining the sudden remodeling and repairs to the gaping hole left in the ceiling, walls and flooring in the Oval Office.

The other serious results of his threatened government shutdown could fuel a default on sovereign debt creating a national financial crisis. This could actually have the potential to propel America into a state of insolvency and force a sovereign bankruptcy.

The cloaked and unaccountable cost of continuing war in Afghanistan, could position America for this to happen, if Congress does not reach a quick consensus on raising the statutory limits of government borrowing and approve new spending measures. All of it could act as a catalyst contributing to a sovereign bankruptcy and subsequent debt crisis. All government services, without exception, would be stopped immediately across America.

The above graph shows the total gross of America's government debt on a global scale. America's debt has not been paid down and like carrying a balance with interest, on your credit card, it has steadily increased.
