Good morning! I have not slept well for days. My old coffee pot is percolating as we speak.
The news just keeps coming about Trump! All of his ignorant bluster yesterday simply adds to his frightening reputation of an unbalanced and mentally unhinged President. His tirade attacking Mitch McConnell, demonstrated that he has no idea how to play well in the sandbox with his peers, inside Washington's beltway. Watching Trump's interview on television cemented my viewpoint, that he thinks he is a ruling king, instead of the President of the United States.
If Congress does not take action soon, our country will be past redemption and become embroiled in an escalating war leading to a reckless nuclear war. Trump will be whisked off to a secure location of safety approx 30 stories below the Colorado mountains into a Presidential bunker, while the rest of America and the world perish.
The long view of this possibility, is so frightening that it cannot be ignored. Is there no one who has even the smallest sack of peanuts to stand up to this maniac and tell him that he is NOT a king and America is NOT his kingdom? Among all his Generals, is there not one General who will tell him, you are an elected President who is sworn to and must act within the confines of the Constitution of our country? Can somebody please get a straight jacket for this unprepared, incompetent, unhinged man-child of a President, before he gets us all killed?
